March 16, 1938 - July 7, 2017

West Point - Dale C Kutterer passed away, July 7, 2017 at age 79 surrounded by his family. Dale was born on March 16, 1938 in Pocatello, ID to John Conrad Kutterer and Rita Alvira Crouch. He graduated from Pocatello High School in 1956. In 1958 he married Charlene Fore in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple and divorced after 42 years. He then met Lois Ogden Allred, they were married May 18, 2001 in the Bountiful LDS Temple and later sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple.

Dale was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with an unwavering testimony of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. He and Lois served a 30 month mission together in the Orchard Park Ward in Ogden, UT. They were also ordinance workers in the Ogden LDS Temple until it closed for renovation. Dale also had the opportunity to serve in many other callings including a counselor in the Stake Presidency, Bishop, High Priest Leadership, Gospel Doctrine Teacher, High Council Member, Home Teacher, etc.

Dale was a member of the Great Falls, MT Rotary Club; Campaign Chairman of the United Way; appointed Chairman by the Governor of Montana Private Industry Council and Franchise owner of TCBY. He and Lois also served at the West Point Senior Citizen Luncheons monthly for 12 years, tutors at West Point Elementary and school reading programs for several years.

Dale enjoyed the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed woodworking, barbecuing his favorite T-bone steak, singing in the Ward choir, traveling with his wife Lois and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Dale is survived by his wife Lois, his children: Michael (Ann) Kutterer of Clearfied, UT, Kelliann Blackburn of White Fish, MT, Matthew Kutterer of Boise, ID and Kathiann (Jade) Huston of Anna, TX; and Lois' children, Dave (Tauna) Landrum, Rick Landrum, Jeff (Amy) Landrum, Mike (Wendy) Landrum, Roy (Lisa) Landrum, Julie (Phil) Rash, and Kelly Hill; 35 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; and brother, Gary Kutterer.

He is preceded in death by his parents; cousin, Marva Jean (whom he considered a sister) and a granddaughter.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11 am at the West Point 2nd Ward building, 2300 W. 550 N. in West Point, UT. A Visitation will be held Friday, July 14, 2017 from 6-8 at the church as well as prior to the service on Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30. Interment will be at the West Point Cemetery.

A special thank you is extended by the family to the caring staff of Dr. Vincent Hansen and the McKay Dee Hospital Oncology Department, by the remarkable staff of Inspiration Hospice: Leann, Lindsey, Jenny and Dan for their tender and loving care of Dale. Also, a special thank you to the West Point 2nd Ward Members, Family and Friends.
