Austin, Texas – Jeff (45) passed away, following a valiant fight with a difficult pneumonia, with his family at his side. Born July 18, 1969 in Murray, Utah, he died on December 11, 2014 in Austin. He is survived by his parents Stephen D. Clarke and Linda Price Clarke, his sister Anne Bober and her husband Joseph, his niece Nicole Nye, and two nephews Zak Nye and Travis Nye.
Jeffrey clearly enjoyed and was dedicated to a successful career with Simpson Housing, LLLP as a leasing manager. He played a major role in the success of two large apartment buildings in downtown Los Angeles and was given the opportunity to work at opening the new Skyhouse high rise building in downtown Austin, in which he was excelling at the time of his death.
He made many long lasting friendships as a child in Bountiful, Utah, a teen in Sunnyvale, California, and high school in Brookfield, Connecticut and Dallas, Texas. He excelled in alpine skiing, music, drama and creative arts, which helped him enjoy the beautiful things in life. After a year at Weber State University, in Ogden, Utah, he graduated from UT Austin with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and moved to Los Angeles to work for several major film and photographic houses, again making many friends and traveling professionally in the U.S., Europe and India. His friends remember his quick wit, his bright mind, his contagious smile, his passion for entertainment trivia, his love of film, music, and the arts, and what fun it was to be with him. He was a very talented, gentle and kind man. His two dogs were cherished companions.
Jeffery was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served an honorable mission in Seoul, South Korea. He loved the Korean people, the language, and the culture.
The family has been humbled by the support and constant prayers from family and all of his friends, many who traveled far out of their way to visit at the hospital, even for a few minutes. We will be forever grateful for your love of Jeffrey and we know he felt your love and prayers as well.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 30 at 11:00 am at the Huntsville Stake Center, 6500 E 1900 N, Eden, Utah. Friends may call on the family at Myers Mortuary 845 Washington Blvd. Monday from 6 to 8 pm or at the chapel on Wednesday from 10 to 10:45 am. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden. Memorial services were held in Austin on December 21 and in Los Angeles on December 27.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation in Jeffrey's name to www.AustinPetsAlive.org as he rescued a beloved dog from them and felt deeply about their mission, or to www.apla.org, an organization which he valued greatly.
