Linda Hunt Marcus

Riverdale – Linda Hunt Downs Marcus 71, our dear Mother, returned home to be with her Heavenly Father, May 8, 2012, surrounded by the loving arms of her family.

She was born in Ogden on December 20, 1940 to Albert George and Orell Taylor Hunt. Linda married Kenneth Downs in April of 1960, they had two children and
later divorced. On May 29, 1970 she married Terry Leon Marcus in Elko Nevada. They had one child and were married for 23 years.

Linda graduated from Ogden High School in 1959; she never missed a reunion and always remained a great friend to many. Linda retired from HAFB after working
for 38 years and was a member of the LDS Church.

Linda loved to dance, camp, fish, cross-stitch, garden and collected teddy bears and teapots.

Linda fought a courageous battle of cancer and stayed strong and dignified until the end.

She is survived by her three children, Michelle Downs, Ogden, Brett Downs, Ogden and Justin (Amy) Marcus, S. Ogden; grandkids, Brendon and Heidi Jones, Brittney and Jessica Downs, Katie and Taylor Marcus and almost 8 great-grandkids who all loved her dearly. Preceded in death by her parents and her first husband.
