Olive "Colleen" Absher-Martin

Ogden – Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend and neighbor, Olive Colleen Absher, passed away on, Friday June 16, 2017.

Colleen was born on August 21, 1938 in Brigham, Utah, the daughter of Emil and Anne Luella Wise Rohwer. Colleen had four sons and four daughters and was happily married to Whitney Martin at the time of her passing.

Colleen loved puzzles, embroidery, reading, traveling, country music and most of all being around her family. She was also a member of the LDS Church. Colleen was very generous and would do anything she could for anybody in need.

She is survived by her children; Joshua Martin, Elisabeth (Marc) Allan, Mary O'dell, Janice (Rick) Aspuria, and Holland (Lisa) Absher, Sisters; Alberta Worthington and Nancy Hunsaker, brother; Bert Rohwer; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Whitney, son, Matthew Martin, daughter, Ruth Thompson, her parents, and siblings, three sisters and one brother.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the family members who helped take care of her when it was needed and to Teresa Dickamore and her family.

Friends may visit with family on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to the services on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at Myers Mortuary. Internment at Evergreen Memorial Park.
