Nacey Glenn Wilson 65 passed away September 12, 2017 from cancer.
Born the third son of six boys, to goodly parents, George E and Irma Fae Wilson. Nacey was raised and taught to believe in God and to know right from wrong. His early years were full of adventure and exploring nature in and around Utah.
Nacey loved life and enjoyed many different pursuits, some of which were hiking, rock hounding, gold panning, boating, hunting, fishing, camping, sightseeing, reading, gardening, and working around the home and yard.
Nacey married Martha Redford. Together they had a son, Shane Deru, but were later divorced. He married Ila Rae Morris in the Ogden LDS Temple and was blessed with six wonderful children, Anthony Hill, Sarah Bindrup, Mathew Wilson, Jennifer Wayment, Christina Wilson, and Jared Wilson. Nacey and Ila enjoyed 30 wonderful years together, the first 11 years were in Alaska, then they settled in Utah before Ila Rae passed away from cancer in 2003.
In 2004 Nacey became reacquainted with an old high school friend, Donarae Suzann Young, and they were married in the Logan LDS Temple. Suzann brought into their marriage six wonderful children: Mindy, Teresa, Jenny, Lisa, Shelly and Brett.
Family relationships and time spent with family were the most cherished and loved time to Nacey. He loved to spend time at family get togethers and outings, from roasting a hot-dog in the back yard to hiking in the canyon.
A lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Nacey served in many church callings and enjoyed opportunities to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and his fellow man.
Personal note by Nacey: “Life is short, there is not a fraction of the time in this life to do all the things that one would like to do, but there are certain things that everyone should give the highest priority to: each of us should seek to understand what those things are and give careful attention to doing them.”
“I feel so blessed for all that I have been given especially the friends that I have made and the family and loved ones with whom I have shared my life.” Nacey
A special thank you to the care and compassion from the Step Forward Hospice.
