Linda Marie Emmett

Linda Marie Emmett, age 67, passed away on January 8, 2018. She was born on May 28, 1950 in Conneaut, Ohio, the second child of four to Jorma Albert Aho and Gertrude Isabelle Marvin Aho.
Linda graduated from Harbor High School in Ashtabula, Ohio and Stevens Henagar College in Ogden Utah. She married Jeff Emmett in Ohio in 1969 whom she later divorced. She married Pete Holden in Utah in 1971 whom she later divorced.
She has lived in Ashtabula, Ohio, Brigham City, Tremonton, Logan, Ogden, and West Roy, Utah. Linda worked at General Electric in Jefferson, Ohio, Thiokol Corp, in Promontory, Utah, Utah Auto Parts in Ogden, and Tony Divino Toyota in Riverdale.
Linda’s hobbies included crafts, photography, fishing, baking, mountains, travel and Indian music. Her experience through many years dealing with people, particularly her shuttle customers at Toyota, has been her biggest joy in life.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, four uncles, and three aunts.
She is survived by her brothers; Denny (Linda) Aho and Rodney (Pearl) Aho; sister, Diana (Tom) Cox, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Linda had several special friends, including Ray Barker, Rod Newton, and Chuck Dominguez.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah, followed by cremation.
