Obituary

On a sunny Sunday morning, June 17, 2018, Constance "Connie" Mae Hanson Krogedal left her life in the material world to continue her everlasting life in heaven following a courageous battle with cancer. Connie was born on December 29, 1939, in Montevideo, Minnesota, to Clarence and Mabel Hanson. Connie was the oldest of 4 daughters. In November 1942, her parents moved the family to Froid, Montana. While attending school in Froid, Connie met her husband to be Richard Krogedal. They later wed on November 10, 1955. They began their married life in Froid where they started their family, Doreen, Scott, Jill, and Jennifer. Later they moved to Wolf Point, Montana (1966-67) to run the Husky Truckstop, then moving on to Absarokee, Montana for a short time (late 1967 - Apr 1968), before settling in Hardin Montana where the family grew by one more, Deanna was born. In May 1986, they moved to Billings, Montana and remained there until retirement. In Dec 2013, they left Billings, Montana to make their home in Layton, Utah to be closer to children and grandchildren.

Connie loved reading, playing card games, putting puzzles together, watching baseball with Richard, and tending to her flower garden with Brandy by her side always. She enjoyed visiting with friends and making new ones wherever she went.

She gained her angel wings and joined her husband Richard, parents Clarence and Mabel, son Scott, daughter Jill, grandson, sister Diane and in laws Lewis and Gladys.

Connie is survived by daughters Doreen, Jennifer, and Deanna, sisters Catherine and Venne, 16 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her constant companion, her poodle Brandy and a multitude of relatives and friends.

May you have fair winds and calm seas in your journey. May you dance with angels. We'll love you and miss you always Mom.
