Dennis Hunter

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Dennis Hunter of Harrisville, Utah passed on January 31, 2023.  Surrounded by family and at home, Dennis passed peacefully following a battle with cancer. Dennis is the son of Mack and Carma Hunter and was born on January 5th, 1949 in Boise, Idaho. Dennis married the love of his life, Sharon, on April 1st, 1988.

Dennis enjoyed a fulfilling career as a heavy equipment operator. He worked throughout the west, and his family takes great pride and joy at the many projects Dennis helped to construct.

Dennis enjoyed fishing, welding, and was an avid reader. Throughout his life Dennis remained curious – striving to continually learn and to educate himself.

His greatest joy came from the love of his family. His wife, Sharon, their sweet dog Gracie, their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was always thankful for a loving extended family and wonderful friends.

He was happiest at home with Sharon, and absolutely loved working in his barn and around their property.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Sharon, their children, and grandchildren.

The family, and we know Dennis, would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the incredible doctors and health care professionals who so lovingly cared for Dennis. You are all amazing.

Dennis will be very greatly missed and will forever be in our hearts.
