Obituary

Alex Hernandez, 29, returned to his Heavenly Father, August 4, 2019, due to a long-term medical condition. He was born January 12, 1990 in Ogden the son of Noel Hernandez and Brenda Kay Sparrow..

Alex enjoyed outdoor activities especially snowboarding, wakeboarding, skateboarding, football and he loved concerts. He was a passionate fan of the Boston Red Sox’s, Cincinnati Bengals and the Utah Utes.

He is survived by his fiancé Madison Lunt; his daughter Haizen who was his pride and joy; mother Brenda (Scott) Sparrow of Farr West, father Noel (Valerie) Hernandez of Clinton; grandmothers, Genoveva Hernandez of Ogden, Juanita Chavez of Placitas, New Mexico; four brothers, Daniel (Crystal) Hernandez, Mike Montoya, Anthony (Kelcie) Samora, Joey Hernandez and his sister Ashlee (Kyler) Nielsen and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., on Monday, August 12th from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 4050 S. 3900 W., West Haven, Utah. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd.
