Carl was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, faithful servant to the First United Methodist Church, Masonic brother and committed to his career and work. Carl was born in Rochester NY on November 11, 1933 to Carl E. and Flossie M. Jeerings. He was the second son in the family and graduated from Macedon, NY High School in 1951.  Carl graduated with a degree in engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca NY in 1955.  Carl served in the Army as a commissioned officer and was honorably discharged.

Carl was an active member of the First United Methodist Church for 40 years.  He had many roles from treasurer to trustee and was a big part of getting the current building completed.  The church was a large and consistent part of his life.

Carl was an active member of the Masonic Brotherhood for over 60 years.  He was also very active for many years in the International Order of Job’s Daughters.

Carl loved to paint, travel, camp and spend time outdoors.  He loved all his animals and contributed to many animal welfare groups.
