Heather Erin Parslow
March 13th, 1998 to September 14th, 2019
Our precious daughter, sister, and granddaughter left this earth in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 14th, 2019. She passed from an unexpected seizure. She had a happy normal Friday at school with her friends and she spent the evening giggling with her parents. She had a perfect day. No one could have guessed it would be her last. “But Jesus said, ‘Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me, for such is the kingdom of heaven.’” (Matt. 19:14)
We believe she blew through those pearly gates, skipped judgment day, and went straight to the Celestial Kingdom. Heather is a uniquely special soul who was protected from temptation when she was born in Ogden, Utah to her parents Evan and Michelle Parslow. She lived innocently and saw the world through the eyes of a child. Her favorite things were her beloved dolly, strings, and beads to twiddle and bounce. She liked anything wet and loved to be in the water. She was an accomplished artist who used unconventional materials. Dirt was her glitter. She subsisted on chocolate milk and Nutella pancakes, but every kid needs a steady diet of rocks, and dirt. She always wanted to be outside. She participated in all of our family trips and activities and enjoyed Jeeping with her dad. After each full day, Heather would plop onto Dad’s lap to cuddle and fall asleep.
Heather was well known in the community and we want to extend a special thanks to everyone who has loved and cared for our “Heazy Bee” throughout her journey. Even without a voice, she knew how to brighten everyone’s day and touch their souls.
She is survived by her parents, Evan and Michelle Parslow; her sisters, Mindy, Staci Nebeker (Bryce), Samantha Stephens (Creed), and Tiffany Bingham (Kaleb); her nephews and niece; and her grandparents, Ken Parslow, and Gwendolyn Lee (Don).
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the West Weber 1st Ward, 4100 W. 900 S., West Weber. Viewings will be held at the church on Thursday, September 19th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday prior to the service from 9:40 to 10:40 a.m. Interment, West Weber Cemetery.
