Janet (Anderson) Terry

Janet Anderson Terry, age 60, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 2, 2019 at her home surrounded by family.

Janet Anderson was born June 1, 1959 to Fred and Margene Anderson in Payson, Utah.  She was raised in Oak City and Delta, Utah, where she farmed with her large family and loved working the land and spending time with them.  Janet graduated from Delta High School. She served an LDS mission in the Minneapolis, Minnesota Mission.  She attended Utah State University where she met her sweetheart, Rodney Terry.  They were married May 30, 1985 in the Ogden, Utah Temple. After short times in Richfield, Roy, Cedar City and Enoch, Utah they settled in Willard where they raised their five children.

Janet had a passion for life and loved everything about it.  She loved her family, grandsons, gardening, and Cub Scouts.  She loved the Lord and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many church callings, attended numerous Girls Camps and Cub Scout Day Camps.

She is survived by her husband Rodney, five children: Amelia (Jon) Hale, Crystal Terry, Angela (Nathan) Silvester, Janice Terry, Alan (Erika) Terry, and three grandchildren.  She is also survived by her mother, Margene Anderson, 10 siblings, in-laws, many loved nieces and nephews, and four chickens.

Janet was preceded in death by her father Fred Anderson, sister-in-law Joanna, and niece Kayla.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 10, 2019 at 11:00 am the Willard 4th Ward Chapel, 80 North 100 West, Willard, Utah.

Viewings will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, Utah, and Monday, June 10, 2019 from 9:00 to 10:30 am at the Willard Chapel.  Interment will be at the Willard Cemetery.
