Judy Tucker
Judith Ann Read Tucker passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, December 4, 2019 in South Ogden. She was born February 24, 1943 in Logan, Utah to William Hal Read and Margaret Anderson Read. Judy grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ben Lomond High School and Steven Henager Business School. She worked as a paralegal in various jobs.
Judy married Craig P. Harris in the Logan Temple June 25, 1964, they had three children and later divorced. She married Robert C. Tucker; later divorced.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings including in the Relief Society, primary and as chorister. Later in life she lived in the Post Acute Care Center and was one of the few who could actively participate in Sunday activities.
She enjoyed singing, vacationing; especially in Jackson Hole, she loved to play bingo, it was one of her most favorite things to do and most of all loved spending time with her family.
Judy is survived by her children Kristy (Michael) Rowell, JoD’Ann (Tim) Wight and Jarad Harris; brother Roger Read; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Lance Rowell.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. with a viewing prior from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. Interment, Richmond, Utah
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Myers Mortuary or America First Credit Union, acct. number 9113614, to help with funeral expenses.
