Kathleen Yarrington

April 9, 1943- June 6, 2019

Katy left this world on a pink sky morning and rode off to her next journey.  She rejoined Billy, the love her of her life, who she was married to for 39 years and endured 16 years after Billy’s passing.  She had two beautiful children, Craig and Christine.

Katy’s other favorite love was for horses and enjoyed 50 years in WSWRCA Association and rode until she was 74.  She made many great friends, was a great artist, cook, and an awesome grandma.  To Katy, there was no better dog than a springer spaniel.

She is survived by her son, Craig Yarrington, and her daughter Chris Barrow (Gordon).  Two grandchildren, Jessica and Jake, and also Boe, her springer spaniel which to Katy there was no better dog.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, Billy.

A viewing will take place Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah.  Graveside service will be Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., at Hooper Cemetery, 5301 South 6300 West, Hooper, Utah.  Katy always enjoyed western attire, PLEASE feel free to dress in western attire.  Remember to ride a great horse.
