Lynn Grover Obituary

Lynn Michael Grover, affectionately called “Tiny,” died unexpectedly while surrounded by loved ones Wednesday morning July 10, 2019 at 12:34 A.M. in Roy, Utah of organ failure. He was 65 years old.

We are comforted in the sure knowledge that Dad is with his parents Alma and Persis, his brother Richard, his son Joseph, granddaughter Celeste and the many family and friends who have passed on to live in Paradise. What a sweet reunion they are enjoying right now.

Dad was raised in Middleton, Idaho. He loved us unconditionally and expressed that often. He told stories better than anyone we know (even though he might tell 17 other stories in the process). He was a master mechanic, a secret genius for things like medical research, creative and innovative. Dad was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints and strived hard to be the man of God that Heavenly Father knew he could be. He loved his siblings and parents with a pure love and showed that through his utmost respect for them and his incredible storytelling. This love ignited in us a similar love and respect for our grandparents, uncles and aunt. In this life he suffered many emotional and health challenges, but this constant battle never kept him from serving others without a second thought. No person was ever left stranded on the side of the road if Dad passed by. He knew his gifts and never hesitated to bless others with them.

His giant bear hugs will be missed by those who survived him, namely his devoted wife: Lori Jean, children:

Maggie Bacher (Heiko), daughter-in-law Sherry Flores (Tony), Angela Eisley (Abram), Stephanie Green (David), Sarah McDaniel (Brad), Kristi Fairbanks (Alex), and Steven Grover (Marie), his stepchildren: Adam Nakayu (Shalyse), Eliza Nakayu, Kenji Nakayu (Jessica), Seiko Lefthand (Nathan),

and his 15 grandchildren, he is also survived by his older brother Ken Grover (Elva) and sister Marilyn Tiffany (Tim), and sister-in-law Glenna Blue (Don).

We are so grateful to know Dad is free from the physical pain and limitations he experienced in this life and look forward to an eternity to come to know him even better in his perfect resurrected state. We love you forever Dad!
