Marcus Yorick Elkins

Marcus Yorick Elkins 16 came into this world on March 21, 2003 and was tragically taken from us on June 27, 2019.

Marcus was born to Jamie Elkins and William Pyke.

Marcus just finished his sophomore year at Box Elder High School.  He could light up a room and brighten anyone’s life if they were having a bad day.  He was funny, sarcastic and quick witted always ready with a joke, meme, goofy video or pun to make you laugh.  Marcus was the light of his mama’s life always willing to go for a drive and listen to loud music.  He also enjoyed watching movies, hanging out with friends, pestering his sister, or going out to explore nature.

Marcus had a kind soul, an animal lover, was too smart for his own good, debating and starting conversations that really made you think.

Marcus is survived by his mama Jamie Elkins; father William Pyke; grandma Anna “Bunny” Elkins; grandpa George (Diana) Elkins and sister Taylor Gass.

Marcus was preceded in death by his uncle George Elkins III, and his aunt Lisa Elkins.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT.

A viewing will be Friday from 10:00 am to 12:45 pm at the Mortuary.
