Adair Lollieta Olsen Garner Obituary (1917 - 2006)

Adair L. Olsen Garner WEST POINT - Our loving wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, and dear friend, Adair Olsen Garner, returned home to her Father in Heaven on October 29, 2006. Adair was born in Milton, Utah to Emil A. Olsen and Anna Vivian Anderson Olsen on August 31, 1917. She was educated in Morgan county schools. She had lived on a farm in West Point since 1936 where she developed a great love for the land and animals. She married her childhood sweetheart, Lawrence A. Garner on August 31, 1934. They were married for 66 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Adair enjoyed dancing, camping, fishing, and cooking for family and friends. She cherished her family and many lifelong friendships. She took pride in her beautiful yard and flowers. Adair retired from Hill Air Force Base and had worked hard all her life. Adair loved holidays where family gatherings were a tradition. She dedicated her life to her family. They dearly loved and appreciated her. She will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mother and Father and two sisters, Arliene Bandley and Shirley Kirkman. She is survived by her two sons; Larry N. Garner (Susan), and Bryce M. Garner (Sally); eight grandchildren: Pam Patterson, Gloria Robinson, Monica Bailey, Tonya Robinson, Lisa King, Chad Garner, Ryan Garner and Lance Garner; and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 3, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the West Point Third Ward, 855 N. 4000 W., West Point, Utah. Friends may call on Thursday, November 2, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah, and on Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
