Betty Jean House John Norr Obituary (1928 - 2015)

BRIGHAM CITY - Betty Jean John Norr, 86, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 with her children by her side. Betty was born on March 31, 1928 in Brigham City, Utah a daughter of Leora Barker and Francis Clay House. She attended Lincoln Elementary and graduated from Box Elder High School. Betty married Norman Dee John on May 14, 1948 in the Logan LDS Temple; he died on September 28, 1991. She later married Reese Norr on January 15, 2000. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in the primary, young women's, and the relief society. Betty retired from Thiokol Credit Union after 20 years of service. She traveled with family and friends to various locations around the world. She created many memories with her family through her activities, gatherings and holiday celebrations. Survived by her children: Kevin (Norine) John, Brigham City; Karen (Kevin) Nelsen, Pleasant View; Karla (Alan) Wheatley, Draper; 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren and husband Reese Norr. Preceded in death by her parents and husband Norman. Funeral services will be Monday, February 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Brigham City 7th Ward Chapel, 523 N. 100 W., Brigham City. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
