Brian Woodland

–

Hooper, Utah

On July 6, 2026, Brian Lee Woodland, born on October 9, 1967, in Ogden, UT, took his last adventure, leaving behind a legacy of love, courage, and inspiration. Brian, an adventurous soul, loved to explore the world around him, whether he was hunting, fishing, camping, 4 wheeling or playing video games. There was never a moment too dull for him to turn into a grand adventure. Brian was a smart man, graduating as an honor roll student and sterling scholar from Roy High School and later attending Weber State University, where he earned his Bachelor's in Business and Marketing.

Brian was a man of many passions, but none were so important to him as his family. He found his greatest joy in the company of his wife, Patricia, whom he married on September 25, 1997. Their union was one of profound love and companionship; they were best friends, other halves, partners in every adventure life threw their way. For Brian, there was nothing more rewarding than the simple pleasure of spending time with his wife, whether it was watching movies - especially westerns, cheering on the Utah Utes, or going to auctions for his beloved animals. His love for animals was evident in his flock of pigs, goats, cows, and his many dogs, who were his constant companions on their numerous escapades.

In addition to being adventurous and loving, Brian was also deeply inspiring. He was a man of faith, a member and holder of the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His faith was a beacon throughout his life, guiding him through every challenge and triumph.

Brian is survived by his wife, Trish (aka Chuckee); his children, Josh (Carmen) Gutierrez, HayLee (Jonathon) Woodland, Cassandra Martin and Robert Martin; his siblings, Natalie Olsen and step sister Sara Demers; Step- father Richard Thompson and Step-mother Bonnie Woodland; his grandchildren, Zoii, Patrizha, Yesseneya, Evelyn, Trinity and Joey.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lee Woodland; his mother, Kaaren Thompson; his grandparents, Bernice and Herb Schorsch; and his son, Brandon Gutierrez.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 9:30 am MDT at Myers Mortuary in Roy, Utah. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am MDT at the same location.
