Clem Everett Whittemore Obituary (1941 - 2010)

Clem Everett Whittemore CLINTON - Clem Everett Whittemore, 69, passed away Friday, September 10, 2010 at Heritage Park Care Center. He was born July 20, 1941 in Lansing, Michigan to Clem J. and Audrey A. Sanderson Whittemore. He graduated from Fresno High School. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He married Isabelle Helen Ferguson on March 5, 1983 in Elko, Nevada. He was of the Baptist faith. Clem worked as an Electronic Engineer in Avionics. Early in life, in addition to proficiency in wrestling and sports, he excelled in all aspects of electronics repair. Throughout his career he was keenly adept in a variety of capabilities involving computing, radio operation and transmission, and airplane and remote control avionics. He especially loved his airplane and flying. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Isabelle H. Whittemore, children: Kimberly H. (Marcel) Corbeil of Layton; Chet (Becky) Whittemore of Louisiana; Gary (Nancy) Whittemore of Ogden; Calvin H. (Dorothy) Christensen of Salt Lake City; his mother, Audrey A. Whittemore, 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving his siblings, Ann Matney, Gloria Richard, Eva (Darrell) Slusher, and Greg (Debbie) Whittemore all of California. He was preceded in death by his father, Clem J. Whittemore. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
