Colter Garn Tolsma Obituary (1987 - 2011)

Colter Garn Tolsma LIBERTY - Colter Garn Tolsma passed away on September 27, 2011. He was born June 1, 1987 in Ogden, Utah to Garn and Kim Barker Tolsma. He lived life to the fullest. His true passion was Motocross (IRATE 721). He also enjoyed snowboarding, wakeboarding, camping, hunting, and boating. He loved spending time with friends and family, always having a good time. He made friends easily and could always bring out a smile. He was fearless and outgoing. Colter loved his family. He was best friends with his brother and was a tormentor and protector of his little sister. He was Mama's boy and Daddy's little buddy. Colter worked many jobs from the age of 16, including Master Muffler in Ogden and Hill Air Force Base for 5 years as a sheet metal mechanic. Colter is survived by his parents, Garn & Kim Tolsma; brother Ryan (Kati) Reddish; sister Chelsie Tolsma; grandparents Vern & Carole Smith and Nelda Tolsma; nephews and nieces - Jordan, Tailor, Kenzie, Chayse and Ayja; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; many good friends, including his best buddies Morgan and two dogs K.C. and Smokey. He was preceded in death by grandfathers Floyd Barker and Ted Tolsma; and brother Skyler Tolsma. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. There will be a viewing at the mortuary on Tuesday the 4th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday 9:30-10:30 prior to the service.
