Dana Lynn Tanner

Dana Lynn Tanner, passed away August 20, 2026 in Layton, Utah. She was born on February 17, 1948 to Fannie Rardin and Cloyce Haines in Bemidji, Minnesota.

She was a graduate of Oakley High School and attended Idaho State University.

Dana married Michael C. Tanner on March 21, 1968 in Ely, Nevada; they shared 58 years together. They were blessed with two children. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She loved to watch old movies and spend time with her family. She was a dedicated medical professional using her nursing skills for 42 years.

Dana is survived by her husband, Michael; children, Michael W., Gregory, two grandchildren Elana and Carson Tanner, and her siblings Kevin and Diane.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings; Billy Haines, David Haines, and Gary Haines.
