David W. Perry our beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather passed away on Jan. 16, 2018, at his home at age 57.

David was born Dec. 13, 1960 to wonderful parents Gerald and Patricia Perry in Ogden, UT. He was born and raised in Ogden, graduating from Ben Lomond in 1978. He enjoyed hunting with his father and family. He met his future wife, Alice Elmer, they were married on Jan. 4, 1989 in Ogden.

He enjoyed spending time with family and teaching his four children how to fish, camp, and having fun in the outdoors. He loved to make art out of wood and playing music with the banjo.

He loved serving others and lending a hand when he could and seeing the bright smile on others faces.

He is survived by his wife Alice Perry and three sons, Michael (Danielle) Saunders of ID, Casey (Sherrie) Hyde of Id, Robert (Melanie) Hyde of Ogden; also one daughter, Bambi (Kevin) Saunders of Ogden; 13 grandchildren Skyler Long, Harley Hyde, Taylor Hyde, Gavin Hyde, Nevaeh Saunders, Kaden Saunders, Angela Saunders, Jareth McMullin, Katiliyn McBride, Isabel Saunders, Day Tippits, Michael Berube and Denver Berube; one great-grandkid Tavin Gonzales; siblings Debbie (Don) Criswell of Roy, Danny (Shirley) Perry of Ogden, Kendall (Lorie) Twitchel of ID and many nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents Gerald and Patricia Perry of Ogden and one granddaughter Kasandra Hyde of Ogden.

Rest in peace and fish all day, enjoy your Barley - we will miss you dearly.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Ogden Mortuary and Monday, January 22nd from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. followed by services at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd.
