Dean Diana Rosalie Skaff Obituary (2006)

Layton - Dean Diana Rosalie Skaff passed away on February 10, 2006. She was born on March 21, 1967 in North Hollywood, California to Donald Jay and Johanna Ulke Skaff. At an early age she moved to Tremonton, Utah where she graduated from Bear River High School. She attended Utah State University and graduated from Weber State College. She worked as a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines. Dean is survived by her parents, sister Dona (Paul) Tanner; niece Elise Tanner; uncles Roy, Jim, and Bob Skaff; aunts Duke and Diane; many cousins, devoted boyfriend Dan Lampkin, and many close friends. Dean had many supportive neighbors and co-workers. She also leaves behind two dear cats and the neighbors' beloved dog Scooter. Throughout her life Dean had many wonderful adventures and travels. She always had an entertaining story to tell about them. Dean enjoyed life to the fullest. Known to so many of us as Deeney, she always lit up a room just by walking into it and now our world is a little dimmer without her. We all have great memories of her and will treasure them always. We will honor Deeney with a memorial mass on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, located at 210 S. Chapel Street, Layton, Utah. As per Dean's wishes there will be no interment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Dean's memory.
