Debie Dawn Hauenstein Obituary (1953 - 2009)

BRIGHAM CITY - Debie Dawn Burgener Hauenstein, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away at her home on Sunday, October 11, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. Debie was born November 19, 1953, in Brigham City, a daughter of Lawrence Clyde Burgener and Norma Josephine Wight. She married Danny Hauenstein on February 13, 1971. She worked several places in Brigham City, the latest being WalMart. Debie was a wonderful mother, homemaker and seamtress. She stitched many articles of clothing for her children and grandchildren. She made beautiful Easter dresses for her granddaughters. Her greatest joy was her family and family gatherings, especially the holidays. There was nothing she loved more than being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She loved to laugh and share stories with her family and extended family. She was a humble person who gave freely and asked for nothing in return. She will truly be missed. She is survived by her husband, Danny, and her four children: Jill (Shaune) Parsons, Devin (Stefanie) Hauenstein, Luke Hauenstein, and Angie Donnells, nine grandchildren (one on the way); her sister, Jerry Velasquez; brother, Joe (Deana) Burgener; and her in-laws, DeWayne and Vaudis Hauenstein. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Pat Freston. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. Friends may call on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 for 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.
