Destiny Crawford

–

Ogden, Utah

Destiny Dawn Klemko Crawford passed away Monday, April 13, 2026. She was born September 6, 1977, at the Naval Base hospital in Port Hueneme, California. Her mom was visiting her family and Destiny decided she would meet the world a month early. So, her first bed was a dresser drawer at grandpa’s house. At 5 months old, her first word was “Hi” in response to woman at church. Her first day at school, her teacher came to the car to speak to me about Destiny being a chatter box.
Destiny lived in San Diego, Ca. until her family moved to Ogden Utah when she was 16 years old. She graduated from Roy High School. Destiny and Chris Crawford were married on September 16, 2023, in Ogden, Utah. They had two sons, Braxdon and Braydon Crawford.
Destiny was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Though she was not attending, she never lost her testimony of Jesus Christ and the gospel.
Destiny had a beautiful singing voice, and she used it to sing all sorts of music. In school her teachers really liked her, and she got away with things she should not have. One of her teachers went on vacation and brought her some gum from wherever he had gone. Gum was not allowed at school. She played the flute and the tuba. As a young adult, Destiny was a Special Needs substitute teacher. She learned a bit of patience helping mom with her 2 rambunctious brothers, Stevie and Ean Klemko. Unfortunately, Destiny had a serious math phobia and did not pursue a degree when the state required one.
She was very independent. Destiny was always absorbing information and she loved reading. She would follow Chris around and see how he did things so she could learn how to do the project herself. Chris is a master mechanic and so she learned a lot from him. She worked at O’Reilly Auto Parts Store in Ogden and felt that buying from any other auto parts store was a betrayal.
You could frequently find Destiny outdoors absorbing the sunshine. Yard work was a favorite thing for her, and crafting was something she especially enjoyed. Like her Grandma Penny and Aunt Mary, she had an eye for fast cars and speed. Spaghetti was her favorite meal and the Olive Garden her favorite place to eat. As Destiny got older she did not like her picture taken. So, we would have to sneak pictures when we could.
She was enamored with Ireland and dreamed of going there someday. She had the image of the Claddagh tattooed on her lower back. This Irish symbol represents Love (heart), Friendship (hands), and Loyalty (crown). She loved red hair and told me when she was in elementary school she wanted to marry a red head.
Above everything, she loved her children.
Her smile was warm and inviting. Destiny was loved by all those who knew her. She was just fun to be around. We will not be complete without her. Till we meet again sweet girl. Till we meet again.
Destiny is survived by her husband, Chris; her parents Charlotte Walton and Stephen Klemko III (Dayanara); her children Hope Celli Jang (Brandon), Faith Johnson, Grace Johnson, Joy Johnson, Braxdon Crawford, Braydon Crawford; grandson Elliot Jang; her siblings Steve Klemko, Ean Klemko; half-sister Kayla Klemko; adopted brothers David and Fidel Klemko. She was preceded in death by her son Sean Celli; and her grandparents.
Graveside services will take place Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 2 PM at the Hooper Cemetery, 5301 S. 6300 W. in Hooper, UT. A memorial service will follow at the Adams Ward building, 3755 Porter Ave, S. Ogden, Ut at 3 PM. Services entrusted to Myers Ogden Mortuary.
