Diane (Day) Howard Obituary (1946 - 2003)

DIANE (DAY) HOWARD Newark, DE - Diane (Day) Howard, 56, formerly of Roy, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at the Christina Hospital in Newark, DE. Born on September 30, 1946 in Ogden, Utah, Diane was the oldest of seven children born to June Day and the late Bryant H. Day. She graduated from BYU, Weber State, U of U, and received her PhD at the University of Delaware in 1990. Diane served as an LDS missionary in Germany. In 1987 she was married in the Ogden Temple to Stephen Howard. A devoted homemaker, Diane was determined in all her pursuits, resourceful with her many talents and generous with everyone whose life she touched. At the time of her death, she was serving as the president of the Wilmington Stake Relief Society. She is survived by her husband, three children: Eric, Stephanie and James; mother, June Day of Roy, UT; and siblings, Douglas Day, Susan Voorhees, Marie Day, Nancy Spiegel, Becky Day and Craig Day.
