Doak Boyd Opheikens Obituary (1957 - 2016)

Doak Boyd Opheikens Doak Boyd Opheikens passed away peacefully on October 11, 2016 at Heritage Park after a very long battle with MS. Doak was born on September 13, 1957 to Boyd and Joyce Opheikens. In his younger days he was an avid baseball player and had a warm spot in his heart for animals, volunteering his time while in his wheelchair at the animal shelter. Doak was preceded in death by his father, Boyd; mother, Joyce; and brother, Michael. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd. A special thanks goes out to the Heritage Park staff and Inspiration Hospice.
