Donald Smith Todd Sr Obituary (1932 - 2013)

Donald S. Todd Sr. Donald S. Todd Sr., 81, beloved son, husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend passed away peacefully on April 28, 2013 with his loving wife of 58 years and family by his side. He was born on April 18, 1932, son of Leonard V. and Rhoda King Todd. He was raised and educated in the Ogden area. Donald married Charlene Story on October 3, 1954. Together they raised 4 children. He worked for the Harrisville Brickyard as a Grinder Operator Mechanic along with other responsibilities for 38 years. His first job was planting flowers for Jensen Florist. He had a passion for hunting and fishing with his family. He is survived by his wife; children, Donald (Teresa) Todd Jr., Donalene (John) Knowley, Carolyn Bahl and Gary (Linda) Todd; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Eden Mountain View Cemetery, 5555 East 2700 North, Eden. A viewing will be held prior to services from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon at the Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Special thanks to all his loving care givers, especially Applegate and his special nurse, Bonnie Apogut and her great staff, Rachell, Holly, Dr. Jenkins and his caring doctor, Dr. Steven Sharmann.
