ELEONORE PALMER LAYTON-Eleonore Palmer, 73, passed away Monday, January 21, 2002, at her home. Eleonore was born October 30, 1928 in Karlesrune, Germany, a daughter of Richard and Anna Braun Stark. She married Elmer D. Palmer December 31, 1959 in Stuttgart, Germany. She was a member of the Catholic church. She enjoyed collecting dolls, knitting and camping. She loved her dogs. She is survived by two special nieces who were like daughters, Cornelia (Brian) Laws, Roy and Marion (Scott) Kapp, Roy; and other nieces and nephews Tammy Bernert, Salt Lake City; Sue (Jay) Marquardt, Logan; Anita (Lyle) McComb, Layton; Jason (Sylvia) Bernert, Salt Lake City; Mike Rabanne, Las Vegas; and Robert Bernert, Roy. She is also survived by four sisters living in Germany and one sister living in Roy, Margot (Carl) Bernert, and 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-law.
