OGDENa"Ervan Fredrick Thompson, age 58, passed away on February 9, 2001 at McKay-Dee Hospital. He was born on May 27, 1942 to Oland A. Thompson and Alvina Lucille Siewert in Fort Gratiot Twp., St. Clair Co., Michigan. He married Barbara Jo Hock and they were later divorced. He married Johanna Carol Echols and they were later divorced. He worked for Hill AFB as a welder. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars serving with the Air Force. His parents and one daughter, Jennifer Thompson, preceded him in death. Ervan is survived by six sons and four daughters; Oland M. Thompson of Ogden, Ervan Jr. Thompson of Ogden, Charles Thompson of Ogden, David Thompson of Ogden, Phillip Thompson of Ogden, Yvonne Thompson of Ogden, Kathleen Goss of Ogden, Elizabeth Thompson of Ogden, Mary Jo Thompson of Longmont, Colorado, Wade Thompson of Ogden. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two brothers, Edward Thompson of Port Huron, Michigan, and Emil Thompson of Michigan.
