Gaenell Olsen Jensen Obituary (1940 - 2007)

BRIGHAM CITY - GaeNell Olsen Jensen, beloved mother, wife, and friend passed away Monday, November 19, 2007 in Brigham City, Utah. Born April 10, 1940 in Tremonton, UT to Pearl and Ernest Olsen. She married David Charles Jensen, Jr. in the Ogden Temple on August 31, 1974. GaeNell lived most of her life in Brigham City, Utah. She made many life long friends. She had a special talent for remembering people and making them feel loved and accepted. GaeNell made extra effort to keep track of special friends and meet with them whenever possible. She enjoyed baking and cooking, and loved taking care of her family. GaeNell worked at Thiokol from 1958 to 1974. Attended Brigham Young University in 1961. Surviving are her husband, David C. Jensen, Jr., Brigham City, UT; daughters; Kristi Jo (Nathan) George, Pleasant Grove, UT; Jeri (David) Goepel, Logan, UT; Shauna (James) Hill, Delta, UT; Michelle (Richard) Ashby, Roy, UT; 11 grandchildren, brothers and sister; Ernest Ross (Joan) Olsen, Brigham City, UT; Pearl Doris Cazier, Brigham City, UT; John Deverell (Carole) Olsen, Pleasant View, UT. She was preceded in death by sons, Gavin David Jensen, and Daniel Mark Jensen, sister, Margaret Elaine Ficklin, sister-in-law, Lynda Olsen and brother-in-law, Al Cazier. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City South Stake Center, 865 S. 300 W., Brigham City, UT. Friends may call on Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and Friday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
