James Ellsworth "Ells" Knudson Obituary (1936 - 2012)

James Ellsworth Knudson James E. "Ells" Knudson, 76, of Dickerson, MD passed away on February 2, 2012. Born on January 20, 1936 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late James Kaiser and Ruth (Ellsworth) Knudson. He was the loving husband of Marilyn Neeley Knudson. Surviving besides his wife are his children, James (Cynthia) of Ellicott City, MD, Kenneth (Lola) and Daniel (Jill) both of Poolesville, MD, Timothy (Lisa) of Buena Vista, VA, Kristine Aase (Flemming) of Florence, KY; two sisters, Alice Mergler of Manassas, VA, Melanie Wall of Fairfax, VA; one brother, Homer Knudson of Arlington, VA and 20 grandchildren. There will be a viewing at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 18900 Kingsview Dr., Germantown, MD 20874 on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. where the funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will be in Brigham City Cemetery, Brigham City, UT Saturday, February 11, 2012.
