Winston Sales Obituary (1947 - 2017)

James Winston Sales 69, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at his home in Liberty with his wife by his side. Winston was born on December 13, 1947 in Ogden, Utah a son of Eugene Earl and Frances Thompson Sales. He was raised in the Roy area and lived in Liberty for the last 37 years. During the Vietman Conflict, he served in the Army as a Mortar Leader. He married Annette Lemon on October 7, 1989, they were later sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple on May 28, 2010. Winston joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2009. He was a racquet ball champion, loved wind surfing, snowboarding, snow skiing and jet skiing. Winston enjoyed traveling with Annette, loved being with all his family especially his grandchildren and his beloved dogs. Surviving are his sweetheart Annette; daughters: Merrilee Jones, West Jordan; Christy (Geoffrey) Case, Stanwood, WA; Naomi Sales, WA; and four grandchildren. Also brothers: John Sales, Randy Sales, and Craig Sales. Winston was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson. Special thanks to Sunrise Engineering, Dr. Grover, the Hospice Team, especially Julie, Bob, (my go to guy), and his wife Chris. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Liberty 2nd Ward Chapel, 4279 N. 3300 E., Liberty, Utah. A viewing will be Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:40 p.m. at the Church.
