Joyce Anna Grover Smith Our beloved mother, granny and great grandmother, Joyce Anna Grover Smith, age 86, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, Dec. 8th, 2009. She was born in Brigham City, Utah, August 16, 1923. She married James Victor Smith in November 7, 1942 to start their life together in Salt Lake City, Utah. One of her greatest joys was her family and family history. She served her Heavenly Father in many callings as den mother, seminary teacher, stake relief society president and certified genealogist. We love you mom! She was preceded in death by her sweetheart and eternal companion of 61 years, James Victor Smith. She is survived by six children and their spouses: Sharon and Lee Miller of Payson, UT; Vaughn and Becky Smith of Kaysville, UT; Julie and Louis Guerra of Roswell, GA; Michael and Julie Smith of Alpharetta, GA; Cindy and Gary Smith of Norcross, GA; Jamie and Lane Robinson of Sandy, UT; and their 25 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Mom was full of energy, deeply loved and the heart of our family. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City. Friends may call on Saturday from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
