Kathrin Jane Neumeyer Obituary (1956 - 2017)

"We love you every day. And now we will miss you every day." Our wonderful Mom, Kathrin Jane Neumeyer, reunited with her parents in heaven on November 21, 2017. Kathrin was born December 31,1956 to Willis and Elizabeth Neumeyer. She married Craig Lusk and together they raised 3 daughters, Heather Burton, (Ray Burton), Angie Johnson and Emily Lusk, (Michael Reed). Kathy and Craig divorced and she married Barry Wardell and later married William Norman. She held a special place for each of them in her heart and spoke fondly of the years she spent with them. Between her 3 daughters, she is "Nana" to 14 grandchildren, Mariah, Jordan, Savannah, Mckennah, Hadlee, Tyree, Mason, Parker, Dylan, Tess, Bella, Olivia, Andrew and Chloe. And 5 great-grandchildren, Nala, Rylan, Jamaya, Journey and Jamari. She is survived by her brother, Larry Neumeyer and sister, Cindy Allen. Kathrin spent most of her career working at Hill Air Force Base. After retiring from Hill, she spent a lot of time helping her daughters with her grandchildren and loved doing so. She was an amazing example to us girls. She taught us to be kind, show love, help others and be compassionate. We will always remember the summer sleep-overs out on the trampoline, Easter egg hunts, 4th of July BBQ's, holidays feasts and the candy bowl that was always on the kitchen counter. We have many precious memories from all of the vacations we took together. We are so grateful for the time we had with our Mom. She was brave beyond words and stronger than any of us knew. Kathrin was a deeply spiritual person and loved the Lord. She encouraged all of her daughters to keep God in their hearts and lives. We are so happy that she is able to be with her Mom and Dad once again. We know how much she missed them. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday November 25, 2017 at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy. With a viewing prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Ogden City Cemetery.
