Kent Hale

Kent Nielsen Hale, 81, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born in Ogden, UT on June 21, 1942, to Howard and Ella Hale, the youngest of 6 children. He grew up in Clearfield and graduated from Davis High School. He met the love of his life at Daisy Mays Drive Inn where she was working, and were married in 1964. They made their home in Syracuse and had two daughters. They moved to Clearfield a few years later. He worked at, and retired from, HAFB where he was an aircraft maintenance supervisor.
Kent loved to spend time with his family and loved being outdoors. If he wasn't tinkering around in the garage or in the yard, you could find him on a lake fishing or somewhere metal detecting. He loved going on rides to Antelope Island.
Kent is survived by his wife, Lois, his daughters Cindee (Shawn) Paulsen and Carrie (David) Steckelberg, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren, and one sister Sharon Talbot. He is preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings.
As per Kent's wishes, there will be no services. A very generous thank you to all our friends and loved ones that have supported us through the years, and to Canyon Home Care & Hospice and the many others who have taken such good care of him.
