Kilee Hannan Capener Obituary (2007 - 2015)

Kilee Hannah Capener passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 in a tragic boating accident on Bear Lake. She was born July 14, 2007 in Amarillo, Texas to Lance J. Capener and Kathryn Stockdale Capener. Kilee attended Majestic Elementary School. She LOVED school, and she loved her teachers. Kilee loved art; she filled the house with little projects and love notes. Kilee was active in soccer, tumbling and dance. Kilee was at that sweet, innocent age where her personality was blossoming every day. She had the cutest mannerisms; everything she said was accompanied by fluttering arms or some other cute little gesture. She wanted to be a mom someday. For Kilee, there was always something to be excited about in life. Kilee is survived by her mother, Kathryn Capener, and brother, Jacob Capener. She is also survived by her grandparents, Robert and Pauline Capener and Elaine Stockdale. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Stockdale. She was joined in death by her father, Lance, and her sister, Kelsey. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Pleasant View Stake Center, 2975 N 1000 W, Pleasant View. An overflow site for the services will be located at 3035 N 1325 W, Pleasant View. A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 11th from 5 to 8 p.m. and prior to the service on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Pleasant View Stake Center. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, Utah. The family wishes to express appreciation to the search and rescue and first response teams as well as all of the medical staff who assisted Kilee.
