Larue Irene Higley Applonie Obituary (1928 - 2018)

LaRue Irene Higley Applonie October 9, 1928 - April 2, 2018 On April 2, 2018, I LaRue Irene Higley Applonie at the age of 89 joined my loving family members who went before me. I was born October 9, 1928 to Clarence and Nola Simpson Higley in Hooper, Utah. I graduated from Weber High School and Weber Jr. College. I married Donald Lawrence Applonie on April 29, 1948. I retired from IRS. My brothers and sisters are: Kent (Bonnie) Higley, Jerry Higley, Dennis Higley (deceased), Lynn (Ron) Dickemore, Taunya (Dave) Schilling (deceased), and Rex Higley. Trials have been few, but blessings have been many. My greatest blessings are my children: Brent (Jean) Apploine, David (Wendy) Applonie. Gay (Dave) Lloyd, Sharon (Paul) Larsen, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Special thanks to Seasons Assisted Living staff and residents for taking such good care of me while I was there. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the LDS chapel at 2123 N. 2000 W., Farr West at 11:00 AM. A viewing will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 6:00-8:00 PM at Myers Mortuary in Roy, 5865 S. 1900 W., and also on Saturday, April 7, from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the LDS Chapel in Farr West.
