Laurena Marie Morris Jeppsen Obituary (1919 - 2004)

LAURENA MARIE MORRIS JEPPSEN BRIGHAM CITY - Laurena Marie Morris Jeppsen, 85 passed away peacefully of natural causes March 3, 2004 in Brigham City, Utah. Laurena was born on February 6, 1919 in Brigham City, Utah the youngest child of Edward H. Morris and Laurena Hadley Morris. She graduated from Box Elder High School and attended Weber State College. Laurena married Wynn N. Jeppsen on April 3, 1940, in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many positions. Laurena worked as Deputy County Recorder in the Box Elder County Recorders Office for 19 years. Laurena enjoyed the beautiful flowers raised in her garden and shared them freely with others, she also enjoyed reading. Laurena was dedicated to her family and friends and enjoyed very much her relationships with them. She is survived by four children; Nancy Jeppsen, Robert Wynn (Patsy) Jeppsen, Reese Edward (Irene) Jeppsen, Steven Morris (JoAnn) Jeppsen, 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Clyde H. Morris. Laurena was preceded in death by her husband, brothers, Edward H. Morris, Glen H. Morris, two granddaughters, Kathleen Jeppsen and Sherilyn Jeppsen. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 6, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Central Ward Chapel, 506 South 200 East, Brigham City. Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, and on Saturday, from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery. The family wishes to especially thank those who have given care and support to Laurena.
