Leone S. Larsen Obituary (1907 - 2001)

OGDEN - Leone Sorensen Larsen, 93, died June 3, 2001 after a short illness. She was born October 14, 1907 in Willard, Utah, the daughter of Peter and Phebe Taylor Sorensen. She attended Willard Elementary and graduated from Box Elder High School. She married Floyd Larsen July 28, 1926 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died March 26, 1967. She was a member of the Lorin Farr 4th Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and worked in the Primary and Relief Society organizations. Leone worked for the Weber High School lunch program for over 30 years. In her earlier years, she loved to sew for her family and friends. She is survived by one son, Neil H. (Nora) Larsen of Ogden; two grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother; a sister; and one son, Floyd S. "Bud" Larsen.
