Lois Idella (Shaw) Moss Obituary (1925 - 2019)

Lois Idella Moss, age 94, passed away June 27, 2019. She was born may 11, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Sarah Idella Blair and Franc Jennings Shaw. She married her sweetheart Lloyd Knighton Moss in the Salt Lake Temple on Dec. 1, 1943. They had 3 children; Cynthia Noble, Sylvia McGregor (Ted) and Kevin Moss (Denise); 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. They were happily married for 69 years before Lloyd passed away in 2013. She was an excellent seamstress, creating beautiful clothes, even wedding dresses, for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved playing golf, oil painting and reading. She was active in her church and served as Compassionate Service Leader for many years. The most important thing to Lois has always been family. She and Lloyd created a peaceful loving home and established traditions of summer vacations at Hebgen Lake and Sunday dinners and holidays spent together. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd K. Moss and granddaughter Minon Noble. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Interment will be at Syracuse City Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Mountain Ridge and Encompass Hospice Care for their wonderful care.
