Lu Clark Fawson Obituary (1905 - 2003)

LU CLARK FAWSON Together Again ROY - Lu Clark Fawson, 97, passed away Monday, October 6, 2003 at Peachtree Assisted Living. She was born October 15, 1905 in Grantsville, Utah, the daughter of Edwin Marcellus and Matilda Ratcliffe Clark. She married Paul P. Fawson on February 10, 1925 in the Salt Lake Temple. Paul passed away October 15, 1990. Lu was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served faithfully in all the church organizations. Lu also served with her husband doing sealings in the Ogden Temple. She completed a Stake Mission and loved sharing her testimony with others. Lu was a talented artist and was widely recognized for her different artistic designs. She is survived by her children: Paul Clark (Rosemary) Fawson, St. George; Kennith Lowell (Patricia) Fawson, Salt Lake City; LuRae Fawson (David) Riley, Aloha, OR; 33 grandchildren, 120 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter Ruth Fawson, three sisters and two brothers.
