Luella Garn Drollette Tincher

Luella Garn Drollette Tincher, 100, beloved Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, peacefully passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born May 11, 1926, in Fielding, Utah, the daughter of Daniel Garn and Ida Araminta Monaham. She is the youngest of six children. Luella started school in the fall of 1932 and developed a love for learning from an early age. In May 1944 she graduated from High School. Soon afterwards she left home to begin a new chapter of her life in Brigham City, where she sought employment and great opportunities for her future.

She married Charles Robert Drollette on June 4, 1946, and was later sealed in the Logan Temple with their children on May 26, 1961. Together they built a loving home and were blessed with 5 children, 3 sons and 2 daughters. Charles passed away on February 26, 1972, leaving Luella to carry forward with remarkable strength, faith and devotion to her family.

She worked season positions with the Internal Revenue Service where she was appreciated for her reliability and strong work ethic, she was often given the opportunity to work additional hours during busy times.

She then married Arlie Tincher on December 9, 1975, for time in the Mesa, Arizona temple, marking the beginning of a cherished and enduring union built on faith, love and companionship. Arlie passed away on June 22, 2004, leaving behind a legacy of love and shared memories.

Luella was preceded in death by her parents, all her siblings as well as her beloved daughters, Diana Drollette and Charlene Drollette (Baltezore), 1 granddaughter, Cynde Drollette and stepchildren; Bruce and Burt.

She is survived by her children Robert (Lavern) Drollette, Dale (Gloria) Drollette, David (Lisa) Drollette and stepchildren Arlene, Jay, Kelly, Mary, Janet and Carl. She also leaves behind an abundant legacy of posterity, each a testament to the love, strength and family values she carried through her life.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City Cemetery, 300 East 300 South, Brigham City, Utah. A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham.
