Lula Burt Christensen Obituary (1924 - 2009)

CORINNE - Lula Burt Christensen, 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Pioneer Care Center. Lula was born on November 19, 1924 in Brigham City, Utah a daughter of David William and Bergetta Marie Nelson Burt. She married Roy Walter Christensen on August 12, 1952. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Lula was an active member of the church. Surviving are her children: Margie Sandberg, Brigham City, UT; JoAnn (Dan) Ferraro, Perry, UT; Lynn (Tom) Ammons, Brigham City, UT; Burt Christensen, Corinne, UT; 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Ilene Earl, Salt Lake City, UT. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, two granddaughters, Angie Ammons Reeder and Dana Sandberg, nine brothers and sisters, Charles, Glen, Jim, Phillip, David, Afton, Marie, Wilma and Lola. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Corinne 1st Ward Chapel, 2325 N. 4000 W., Corinne. Friends may call on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
