Lurleen Marie Gooch Anderson Obituary (1922 - 2014)

BEAR RIVER CITY - Lurleen Anderson age 91 passed peacefully in her home on March 1, 2014. Lurleen was born October 15, 1922 to Belton and Ethel Gooch in Blackfoot, ID. She was raised in Southern, Idaho. Lurleen married Clair Anderson December 13, 1944 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they raised a family of seven children in Bear River City, Utah. She was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Lurleen was a devoted wife and selfless mother dedicating her life to her family. Survived by her children: Dean Clair Anderson; Erma (Terry) Niederhauser; Ruth (Kim) Brown; Deon Anderson; Christine (DelVon) Julander; Trudie Nell; David Hans (Linda) Anderson; 29 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and two brothers. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bear River City LDS Chapel, 5870 N. 4700 W., Bear River City. A viewing will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Bear River City Church. Interment will be in the Bear River City Cemetery.
