Margarita (Maggie) Ruedas Obituary (1948 - 2012)

Margarita (Maggie) Ruedas passed away early Tuesday morning the 2nd of July at her home in Ogden. She was born on Dec. 22, 1948 in Chama, NM to Paul and Sylvia Herrera. Maggie enjoyed spending her free time with her family, friends, and her puppy that she loved dearly. She loved meeting new people along with the plenty she knew. She loved to joke around, and share laughs with her favorite nieces, Jennifer Flores, and Sylviana Hernandez, and nephew, Gabriel Flores, whom also took care of her. Maggie is survived by her mother; brothers, Paul, Clovie and Johnny Herrera; sisters, Naoma (Joe) Chavira, Irene (Dave) McCubbin; and her favorite aunt and uncle Mary and Joe Herrera. She is preceded in death by her father; sister, Josie Flores; brother, Nickodemus Herrera, and her daughter, Marcella Espinoza. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery. We all love you Maggie and miss you dearly. May god keep you in his keeping while we all keep you our hearts.
