M. Eleanor Rickers Wasem Obituary (1911 - 2011)

Morgan - M. Eleanor Rickers Wasem, 99, passed away April 12, 2011. Eleanor was born November 26, 1911 in Omaha, NE to George Henry and Marguerite E. Smith Rickers. She married Lincoln William Wasem August 24, 1935. Eleanor worked as a Physical and Occupational Therapist in hospitals in Pennsylvania and was a supervisor for Elizabeth Arden Salons. She enjoyed oil painting, knitting, gardening, crafts and traveling. Eleanor is survived by her daughter Joyce Zubia; grandsons Scott Miklos and Steven W. Miklos; granddaughter, Jill Revestir; step-grandchildren, Elizabeth Zodnik and Nicholas Zubia; 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington. Interment will be in the South Morgan Cemetery.
