Marian Pauline Harrison Robertson Obituary (1913 - 2011)

Marian Robertson BRIGHAM CITY ~ Marian Pauline Harrison Robertson, 97 passed away on April 3, 2011 at the Brigham City Community Hospital. Marian was born on June 29, 1913 in Cheney, Washington a daughter of Oscar and Rose Brown Harrison. She graduated from Holy Names Academy in Spokane Washington and attended Washington State College, now known as Washington State University. Marian married John Robertson on January 17, 1947 in Spokane Washington. They moved to Brigham City in 1958 where John was employed at Thiokol. She was on the Board of Community Concerts when it was active in Brigham City; she also was a member of a member of Spade and Hope Garden Club. Marian was an active member of St. Henrys Catholic Church and was chosen Woman of year to represent St. Henrys at the Deacons Counsel of Catholic Women Convention in Salt Lake. She worked at the Soup Kitchen in the Lincoln center. She spent her life in the service of others. Special thanks to her friends in her walking group, and to Dixie Hoesel. Surviving are her daughter, Nancy (Lynn) Hardy, Elwood, UT; grandchildren: Nathan (Natalie), Ryan (Joyce) and Matthew (Destry), 13 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, John and two brothers. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Henrys Catholic Church, 380 S. 200 E., Brigham City, UT. Family and friends may call on Thursday, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
