Marion Palmer Thurston Obituary (1934 - 2013)

Marion Palmer Thurston Orange, CA - Marion passed away peacefully on October 31, 2013 with family at her side after having been in poor health for the last eleven months. She is survived by her sons, Brad and Eugene; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Theron and Fred Palmer and sister, Alice Palmer Rima. Marion was born in Ogden, Utah and graduated from Weber High School. She was a member of the LDS Church. For the past 45 years she has lived in Orange, California and worked for over 35 years at Sears in the Mall of Orange before retiring. She took great pride in her work as a sales associate in Major Appliances and loved her job and the store. When at home she was always working in her yard, loving to be outdoors in the warm sun. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Thelma Palmer of Plain City, Utah and her husband of 59 years, Archie. Marion will live forever in our hearts and was loved by everyone whose lives she touched. Her smile and love will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Family and friends may call prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. A reception for family and friends will follow the service at the Plain City Senior Center, 4160 W. 2200 N.
